I would love to consider your story non the USAF Thunderbirds for the Gillette News-Record.
Our Sunday circulation is 8,500, which is likely when such a story would run.
Thanks,

John–
My apologies for not getting back to you right away. I will consider
your story, but like I said when we talked, the possibility of us
having room in the paper at that time is slim because we have so much
county fair coverage.

Hi John
We are interested in the story, however timing being what it is, I cannot
say for sure if we will use it when the time arrives. Hope you get the gig.

John,
Sorry I'm slow about this. It's been a busy week, I'm afraid. The story idea
sounds fun. Wish I could fly along, although I would likely have a little
trouble keeping my lunch down. Along those lines, I'm told bananas are the
best thing to eat before a flight with those guys. Apparently they taste
about the same coming up as they do going down.
Anyway, I'd be interested in your story when the times comes. The Herald has
circulation numbers averaging about 3,500 is all, I'm afraid, but we're
trying to sell more, I promise.
Hope this helps in your effort to get the flight. Good luck and have fun.
